Lamees is an MBA Engineer turned TV chef & personality, an international culinary enthusiast with a focus on Middle Eastern cuisine, a recipe developer & constant Nomad who spent most of her years traveling the world and learning about different cuisines & food.
 
Born & raised in the UK, her passion for food started when her mum introduced her to the art of Middle Eastern cooking when she was only 9 years old. From that point on, her passion for food blossomed & cooking started to take a major role in her life and continued to do so even after completing a major in Computer Engineering/Mechatronics and working as a program manager at Microsoft.

Her passion for food led her to complete a Diploma in Hot Kitchen from ICCA (International Center for Culinary Arts) in Dubai which is accredited by City & Guilds London and recognized by the World Association of Chefs Societies and the Dubai Municipality along with various Certificates of cooking with many international & Michelin star chefs.

Lamees gained notice from major TV channels in Dubai and was offered a TV show under her name “Lamees’s Dining Table” where she got to showcase her love for Middle Eastern and international food to her fans and followers along with regular appearances on famous TV shows like Sabah El Their Ya Arab, Sabah El Dar and Food festivals like Dubai Food Festival and Sharjah Food Festival.

Lamees has been able to work with fabulous international brands like Moulinex, Philips, Miele, Raley’s, Smart & Final, Bagel Bites, Party City, The Pioneer Woman, Nutella, Lurpak , Philadelphia cream cheese, Fresh Salsa etc., along with regular articles & recipes published in BBC Good Food, Ahlan Magazine, Gourmet Mag, Zahrat al Khaleej and other magazines.

Her passion for food eventually led her to leave Dubai in the pursuit of starting her own food production company. She completed her MBA in Malaysia and is currently in the process of  launching her food production company in the USA in 2022 ”Bashi’s Superfood Snack’.
